You piece of scum" the girl screamed but Maria said nothing.
"Look, why would you help me? So just capture me or let me go" the girl snapped.
Maria turned to walk back into the car, when Jay climbed out and walked over to the girl.
"She's human" whispered Maria.
Jay ran up to the girl. "I'm like you" he said.
She stared at him and shook her head. "Impossible. Why aren't you running? You wouldn't be with that alien if you were human" she spat and Jay sighed.
"I am human, I swear it" Jay said and the girl debated what he was saying. Could he be human? Could he?
"I promise" Jay said.
"He is" interrupted Maria and the girl looked thoughtful.
"Then why is he with you?"
"He's my friend"
The girl spun on Jay. "Why are you friends with one of Them?"
