Invader Part Five

"She's my friend"

"Why?" the girl screamed.

"Three years and she didn't tell me she was an alien, and I never guessed. She never did anything to betray me. Why give up the only friend you have when..." he trailed off hearing sirens. The police were coming.

"Listen, we need to get out of here, now" Maria shouted.

"I do, and so does your friend, but you don't - you'd be safe with your own kind"
"If he's a policeman from the city, then I'd be anything but safe" Maria said cooly and Jay started to walk back to the car.

"Wait!" Maria called.

"Come with us!" Maria told the girl.

"How can I trust you, you're an alien!"

"Look, you can't trust me but if you think the police will just let you go then fine! I'll leave you here!"

The girl paled then climbed into the car. Jay put his foot on the accellator and they ran from the Police.
